Welcome to Chestnut Class

We are a lively bunch and have enjoyed developing our classroom to make it an inspiring and exciting place to learn. We also love learning in our outside classroom in the Forest. We are a mixed aged class, consisting of  Year 1 and Year 2 children. We enjoy a very close relationship with our Nursery Group and Reception children who also share the space. Children within our class benefit from the small class sizes and we presently average around six pupils in each year group. This gives us a total class size of around 18 pupils a year.

Welcome to Oak Class

Oak Class is a mixed age class, consisting of  pupils ranging from Year 3 to Year 6. Work is planned with each pupil in mind allowing for their needs to be met on an individual level.                                                                                         Children in Oak Class have the opportunity to enjoy forest school sessions for 1 hour each week in the wonderful forest on the school site. Lessons are planned and delivered by Miss Smale who is a qualified forest school leader. We are taught French alongside their studies by Mrs Lowe. We also have two African Land Snails as pets which the children share responsibility for over the holidays and weekends.

This Spring (2018) term Oak Class will be looking at the Vikings.
